A BoundaryCare unit comprises four distinct components:
a wearable device (locked down Apple Watch) with multiple sensors (in this case, built on a rigorously managed version of the Apple Watch, locked down, stripped of unnecessary apps, and HIPAA-compliant);
a base station (locked down iPhone) for managing the wearable, and with access to a caregiver dashboard and alerts.
